The CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Children’s Book Awards are the UK’s longest running and most respected awards for writing and illustration for young people. Support the awards and help celebrate the best of children’s books.

The Awards are administered by CILIP: the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, registered charity number 313014. The awards process, including judging by highly qualified children's and young people's librarians from all over the UK, relies on goodwill and volunteer help.
