Let the voting commence!
Our last session before the winners are announced. we did an anonymous ballot and After the Fire is our group winner with Saint Death for the amnesty award. Can't wait to see if we agree with the judges.

Saint Death
Finished the book and loved it. Really sad but brave ending. I'm going to read all the shortlisted books again now and put a judging cap on!

Stalling on the last book
I've read all the Carnegie books now except Saint death. I keep getting stuck on the first chapter. Will make it my mission to finish the book this week.

Getting Started
Our first meeting went well. as we are a range of ages from 11-16 we shared 'Blind date with a reader' to get to know each other. We are all raring to go!

Guest reader
We are really looking forward to our next session. Mrs Peacock our school healthcare assistant, will be visiting to talk about There Will Be Lies. She's an avid reader so it should be good!

Joined Together
Today we had a really thought provoking session discussing One. We did this whilst being joined together! We also discussed who we would most like to be joined to. Lots of ideas given. David Beckham was very popular!
