Group status: We are reading like mad! But time is flying by and we will soon find out the winner. Keep reading everyone!

Some of the group! Publicity-shy members are just out of sight working on their reviews!

We are a group of pupils from all years, aided and abetted by Mrs Heaton, Mrs Peak and Mrs Tulip. We meet in the Library every Friday to have our lunch, post reviews, blog and, of course, READ! We can't wait to find out which book will win the Carnegie Medal. Our final Shadowing meeting is on Friday 25th June. We will be receiving certificates from Mr Charlton and eating lots of celebratory CAKE. And of course discovering which book has won the prestigious Carnegie Medal. Hope it's one of our favourites! And the winner is ........................

It could be you!

Tinder
Cuckoo Song
Apple and Rain
When Mr Dog bites

Title: Dogger
Illustrator: Shirley Hughes

Dogger shows the distress the loss of a toy causes a child, as well as the reality of family life. Filled with humour this is a book for young readers to tackle by themselves, as well as a delight to read aloud.
