Mrs Harris, Kingdown Karnegie
I enjoyed this coming of age story although the graphic descriptions of Adam's relationships with other gay young men are not really suitable for younger readers. I didn't really enjoy the end of each chapter, written in italics, describing the actions of the spirit of the murdered girl and didn't think they were necessary. All in all not my favourite of the Carnegie books although I did care about what happened to Adam and his inner turmoil.
