Hereford Cathedral School Book Club

2019 Carnegie Medal
New start, new year, new members! I have just finished Things a Bright Girl can do. I thought it was very good. I did find the story with May and the Suffragists a bit boring and all the different groups of women got rather confusing but the story overall is really really gripping. Georgia

2018 here we come!
Well, let's see if we can do better in 2018! We have decided not to do Release for our Carnegie presentation as it would mean running a third group - and as I only work 3 days that would mean a Club meeting on every single lunch break, which I can't do. Sorry guys. As it is not age-appropriate for all of us, doing another book means that more of us can join in. Having said that, our book is After The Fire and we need you to read that book ASAP! With lots of ideas as to how we might present it to the other Herefordshire schools! The ticks on the spreadsheet are really impressive - we've got off to a head start with the books arriving just before the Easter holidays -Thank you Peters Bookshop! See you at Book Club. Mrs Nelson
