Group status: On chapter 7 of T.H.U.G - we're living THUG life
We are Year 8s meeting every Wednesday! We chose T.H.U.G as our book which is for mature readers...which we all are! There's some swearing so we all decided how to approach this when reading aloud. Some of us read the word backwards, some of us go 'beep!' and most of us just read it.
Living in London we've already had some interesting discussions about rising violence and the terrible effects this is having.
