Long Way Down

Long way down is about a boy called Will who is full of grief when he realises that his brother was shot and killed. He then remembers the Rules ‘don’t cry, don’t snitch and get revenge. He locates his brother’s gun and leaves his family’s eighth floor apartment to seek revenge.

This book is absolutely amazing! Each chapter is full of suspense, tension and that question ‘What is going to happen next?’ The writer constructs this book well, not leaving parts boring and gives the characters a mix of emotions.

I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy this style of writing and this particular genre.

Overall I enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down.
