The Land of Neverendings
This story is based around the aftermath of Emily's (the main characters) older sister, Holly's death. Holly was a girl who was disabled and her sister had the job of amusing her. Emily told stories of Holly's favorite toy bear Bluey having imaginary adventures in a world called smockeroon. Emily cant bear the thought of seeing Holly leave. Later Emily thinks her toys are alive and magic is leaking from smockeroon into the 'Hard World' and Emily will do anything to get inside. But there are other concerns. What will happen when the gates between the two worlds break and no one can find them ?
This was and amazing yet moving story, one of the best i have read in a long time. The book gives hope to those suffering bereavement and is well worth the read.
There was a downside that was, the imaginary world is named 'Smockeroon' for the most of the story and the title is a different name.
Overall, an amazing story that I would recommend.
